Covid-19 Restrictions Update For Events and Gatherings April 22, 2021

Thank you for planning or booking your event at The Pittsburgh Shrine Center and Pavilion during 2021.

This is a challenging time for planning events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pittsburgh Shrine Center is doing its best to comply with regulations and accommodate our event clients.

That being said, our goal is to keep everyone updated with the most current information concerning mitigation efforts and restrictions that directly affect hosting events at our venue.

Restrictions for Private Catered Events

The Pittsburgh Shrine Center and Pavilion is required to follow all regulations and mandates set forth by Allegheny County Health Department, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and all other legal entities.

As of April 1st 2021 the updated Pennsylvania Governor's and Secretary of Health's Mitigation, Enforcement and Immunity Orders state:

"All in-person businesses, including those businesses in the entertainment industry, serving the public within a building or defined area may operate at up to 75% of maximum capacity. Businesses should be mindful that discrete events or gatherings held within a larger business, such as a movie theaters, are subject to the gathering limitations in the Orders."

We cannot, however, predict the future of mitigation efforts or restrictions imposed by the Commonwealth or other public health authorities at the federal, state or county level.

We are hopeful that current public health efforts will loosen Events and Gathering restrictions. Please keep in mind we have every intention of honoring all contracts, but must abide by the mandates.
